What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Staff Scheduler position at Central Peninsula General Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: The Inpatient Staff Scheduler reports to and takes direction from the Chief Nursing Officer while collaborating closely with the Inpatient Nursing Directors. This position serves as an administrative resource and provides support related to schedule oversight and daily staffing. Responsibilities include scheduling staff work shifts, coordinating staff orientation and training, processing PTO requests, and managing the overall scheduling process. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the scheduling and coordination of staff meetings. The Inpatient Staff Scheduler may also assist other clinical areas with scheduling and perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- One year of clerical experience in a healthcare environment
- One year of general office experience
- BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
