Central Peninsula Women’s Health provides a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services that span the lifetime of a woman. Our comprehensive offerings include maternal-fetal medicine ultrasounds and consults for high-risk pregnancies, specialized urogynecology services, prenatal and postpartum care, and advanced labor and delivery support.
POSTION SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant Apprentice performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of physician and/or a clinical staff member. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, administering medications or treatments as directed by physician, and other duties assigned. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, registering patients, verifying existing demographic information, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes, as well as other clerical duties.
