What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at Central Peninsula General Hospital?

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the filling and dispensing of medication orders including the proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs in the pharmacy. Maintains standards set by regulatory agencies and the department while translating policies and procedures into the daily operation of the pharmacy. Responsible for acting as an information resource for patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug related information and literature. Plans and organizes work schedules of supportive personnel as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy
AK Pharmacist Licensure
BLSP within 30 days

PREFERRED

One year of Pharmacy-Hospital experience

Employment Type: Full Time Shift: Day Hours: 3 - 12 hour shifts per week-6-1830 or 8-2030
