General Function
The Assistant Director provides support for the operations of the Services Corporation, which is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. They are committed to developing innovative businesses, products and services, which support the college's vision, mission, educational, and financial goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works directly with the Executive Director and Services Corporation stakeholders to provide oversight of several Service Corporation projects. Projects include but are not limited to Collegiate Test Prep (CTP), Summer Camps, and Teen Central.
- Hires, trains, schedules, and manages full time, part time, and seasonal staff. Makes sure appropriate staffing levels are guaranteed for each project.
- Works directly with the Executive Director and CMPR to develop and implement a comprehensive media plan for the Services Corporation and its projects. Participates in developing printed collateral materials and digital marking campaigns.
- Primary contact for website maintenance, ensuring functionality on all levels.
- Organizes annual course calendar, creates proformas, and writes proposals to increase revenue and meet budget goals.
- Orders equipment and supplies, and controls inventory and expenses to maximize profitability.
- Oversees on-line registration process for students / campers, builds and processes required forms, and communicates with parents and instructors on a consistent basis.
- Monitors satisfaction surveys and collaborates with the team to improve the student / camper experience.
- Represents Services Corporation and fosters positive relationships with college departments, vendors, organizations in the community, and other educational institutions.
- Setup and staff exhibit table at appropriate campus and community events.
- Supports Services Corporation Board of Directors' meetings by providing printed materials, agendas, minutes, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree and 3 years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree with experience in higher a higher educational institution.
