Central Plumbing, Heating, Excavation (Central), is a 100% employee owned Mechanical / Excavation contractor that performs projects throughout Montana. We are proud of our supportive and rewarding culture. Central is growing and looking for an eager individual to join our team who has a desire to advance in the plumbing trade.
This entry-level position is a steppingstone for individuals with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn the skills needed to transition into our plumbing apprenticeship program. Daily tasks include hauling materials and tools/equipment, keeping the job site clean and assisting the crew as needed.
As a Plumbing Laborer you will learn the foundational elements of:
- Drain waste & vent, water piping, hydronic heating & gas piping
- Building plans & specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials
- Required tools and special equipment
- Working alongside others in a safe environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Desire to learn
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
- Ability to periodically lift up to 80 lbs. or more and consistently lift between 25-50 lbs.
- Understand the value of safety
- Communication skills
- GED or High School Diploma
- Compliance with Central's Drug & Alcohol Policy
