20 dollar pay rate


Sales Support Specialist- prefer energy or utility industry experience (just preferred not required)- looking for 1-2 years


Basic Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: 0 to 2 years applicable experience.

Experience in and knowledge of energy industry is desirable.


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic sales support team. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to our sales operations department, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be proactive in handling tasks to support the sales team in meeting their sales targets.


Essential Job Functions & Tasks:

1. Assist in the preparation and processing of sales orders, quotations, contracts, and other sales documentation.

2. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, ensuring all customer interactions, orders, and follow-ups are logged.

3. Support sales reps in partnership with other members of the sales support team

4. Submit pricing requests and relay information to proper member of sales team.

5. Learn and use in-house technology to submit electric usage requests and evaluate historical usage and intervals.

6. Assist with submission of IT requests on behalf of the sales team and follow up to ensure completion.

7. Submit production support requests and perform status checks on those requests

9. Assist sales team with support requests, which include but are not limited to: emailing customer contracts, mailing marketing materials, researching current contract price, and electronically filing important customer documents and paperwork.

10. Identify recommendations for process efficiency based on issues raised by sales team.

12.Stay updated on product offerings, pricing, and promotions to assist the sales team and customers effectively.

11. Perform other duties as assigned.


Additional Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in CRM. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to write formulas & create pivot tables.

2. Ability to read and interpret general business and technical documents.

3. Present information clearly and effectively, responding to questions from sales and billing.

4. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
