POSITION: Head Football Coach
BUILDING: Scenic Middle School
PAY RATE: $3585.82
Position Overview:
Scenic Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Football Coach to lead and develop student-athletes as part of the district's comprehensive grade 7-12 football program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the game, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering the physical, mental, and character development of student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and coaching for both middle school grades (7-8)
- Plan and execute practice sessions, drills, and games in alignment with the district's athletic program.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among players.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages student-athletes to perform at their highest level both on and off the field.
- Attend all practices, games, and team events as required.
- Assist in gear checkouts and inventory.
- Attend as many coaching clinics as possible.
