Central Standard Crafthouse & Kitchen is seeking a versatile individual to join our team in a dual role as an Event Coordinator. This unique position will involve working on a variety of events, sometimes as the lead coordinator, sometimes as a bartender, and often in a hybrid capacity. In addition to event and bartending duties, the role will also include office hours to lead event projects.
Being a self-starter is essential, as you will be expected to take initiative and drive projects forward independently. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership and problem solving skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team to achieve event goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
Event Coordination:
- Coordinate with event hosts and vendors, exceeding all expectations and building relationships for future events .
- Oversee seamless execution of events from setup to teardown.
- Exceed client expectations.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records.
- Evaluate and enhance/advance event processes.
Bartending:
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails in a fast paced environment, providing an elevated experience for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Build a rapport with customers to create a positive atmosphere
Hybrid Responsibilities:
- Work on events in a dual capacity, fulfilling both event coordination and bartending duties as needed.
- Transition between roles seamlessly to ensure the smooth running of events.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all aspects of events are well-coordinated and executed.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, vendors, and team members.
Office Hours:
- Lead designated event projects
- Collaborate with the Events Director to brainstorm ideas, develop event plans, and execute projects.
- Manage event logistics, including floorplans, setup, and teardown.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event coordination and bartending is required (2 years is preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Proven ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems effectively.
