What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or equivalent related field or graduate from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required. Master's degree in the preceding fields preferred.
CPR certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross or obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
Four (4) years supervisory experience in a health care setting required. Experience with mentally ill clients preferred.
Valid California Driver's License required.
Valid California LVN or LPT license – Nurse requirement only.
American Heart Association or Red Cross First Responder CPR certification. (Must be obtain within 90-days of employment)
How you will make a difference (job overview):
The Administrator is responsible for all administrative tasks, including creating and updating policy and procedures, reviewing risk management and safety systems, overseeing, and coordinating quality assurance and utilization review activities. The Administrator supervises all departments (billing, facility, medical records) to direct and facilitate regulatory compliance, and system analyses and reviews. The Administrator is responsible for maintaining positive liaison with the County and all members of the public as well as establishing positive community relations and contracting for needed services. Manages the overall day-to-day operation of the facility.
Division/Program Overview:
16-bed facilities
Designed for adults with mental health challenges or a recent crisis who need intensive treatment.
24/7 programs as an alternative to urgent care or hospitalization.
Individuals can live on-site in a homelike setting for a short term while they receive counseling and learn basic living and interpersonal skills.
Able to receive physical and psychological evaluation, mental health, and case management services, in addition to assistance locating permanent housing.
