Summary:
Central States is looking for an IT Intern to support the centralization of CSM warranty data, a key initiative to improve data accessibility and business intelligence. This project will focus on migrating warranty data to Azure Data Lake, developing a Power BI Dashboard, and assisting in the decommissioning of legacy databases.
Core Functions:
- Gather technical and business requirements from stakeholders regarding warranty data.
- Assist in migrating warranty data from Syteline and Central Scope databases to Azure Data Lake.
- Develop a searchable BI dashboard in Power BI to provide real-time warranty insights.
- Support database decommissioning efforts by ensuring all necessary data is transferred.
- Provide product demos and present project updates to IT leadership.

Education & Experience:
- Majors Preferred: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Azure or AWS Cloud, SQL, Python, C#, and Power BI.
- Education Level: Juniors & Seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Professionalism: Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment to perform the core functions listed in this job description. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies as well as communicate verbally and electronically. The work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive reading to perform the core functions listed in this job description. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and in a non-temperature-controlled environment. This position is primarily working around machinery with moving parts, working around moving objects or vehicles.
