Job Summary
The Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, including inspection, testing, and repair of electrical systems, motors, pumps, and other equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and schedule repairs before they become major problems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and other equipment.
- Document all work performed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Certifications in electrical and mechanical maintenance (e.g., OSHA, EPA) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
