The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) is seeking qualified candidates for this full time position as a Clinical Director of Outpatient Psychological Services. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the clinical operations of the CSIU psychiatric outpatient clinic, ensuring compliance with PA Title 55, Chapter 5200 Psychiatric Outpatient Clinics. The Director role includes patient care, program development, clinical supervision, regulatory compliance, professional development, insurance billing, and coordination of services that support mental health and resiliency within and across school districts. The Director will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to improve access to quality mental health services and ensure program goals, objectives, budgets, and timelines are met. This position will not supervise or evaluate program staff required to hold Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) educational specialist or instructional certifications. The Clinical Director will provide clinical supervision to non-PDE certificated clinical staff as required by regulations and will receive clinical supervision through the contracted psychiatrist. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2025.

Salary Pursuant to Education / Credential Specialization Level:
- Salary Range $90,000 – $100,000 if the following credentials are met:
o A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field required; and
o Active Pennsylvania professional licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
· Salary Range $100,000 – $120,000 if the following credentials are met:
o A Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field required; and
o Active Pennsylvania professional licensure as a Licensed Psychologist (LP).
Professional Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Minimum of five (5) years of post-graduate experience in clinical mental health, including experience in school mental health services required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical supervisory experience related to outpatient mental health services required.
- In-depth knowledge of PA Title 55, Chapter 5200 regulations, school mental health frameworks, and behavioral health best practices.
- Familiarity with quality improvement practices and data-driven decision-making.
- Training or certification in evidence-based practices related to mental health services.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience supervising clinical staff and overseeing service delivery in a mental health setting.
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Interconnected System Framerwork (ISF), Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), trauma-informed practices, and evidence-based mental health interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate staff.
- Proven ability to develop and implement clinical programs and policies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, fostering collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
