We are seeking an exceptional Early Head Start Child Development and Instructional Manager to join our team at Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit. As a key leader in our organization, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Sunbury Children's Center and ensuring that all aspects of the program meet the highest standards of quality.
Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 based on experience and education
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education, excellent leadership skills, and a deep commitment to working with children and their families. They will also have experience working within Head Start, Early Head Start, or early childhood settings, as well as prior supervisory experience.
Responsibilities:
The Early Head Start Child Development and Instructional Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating various program components, developing and implementing program plans, and maintaining effective communication with children, families, and community partners.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in early childhood, special education, or a related field
- Minimum five years' work experience directly related to providing programming to children
- Prior supervisory experience or equivalent experience supervising students, classroom volunteers, or parent volunteers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
