Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating cooperative purchasing activities, including meeting preparation, documentation, and vendor communication. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the coordination of cooperative purchasing services for school district members and other member agencies.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, announcements, reports, and other documentation as required.
- Support marketing efforts by developing documents, scheduling meetings, making arrangements, designing announcements, and assisting with presentation preparation and delivery.
- Coordinate bid distribution, gather requests from members, compile bid packets, and analyze line-item bid submissions.
- Distribute award information to vendors and members, prepare ordering information, and gather orders from members.
- Provide technical support, attend conferences, and market cooperative purchasing to potential members.
- Compute and distribute invoices, assist in program development, and maintain mailing lists.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to CSIU policies and procedures.
