The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Remedial Instruction Teacher. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remedial instruction to students experiencing educational difficulties in participating nonpublic schools.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to meet the needs of each student.
- Collaborate with school administrators, classroom teachers, and related staff to ensure effective instructional delivery.
- Administer assessments and analyze data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Provide regular progress updates to parents and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education and valid Pennsylvania Reading Specialist K-12 certification required.
- Prior experience as a classroom teacher is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and develop effective instructional strategies.
