The Curriculum and Instruction Manager at CHS is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of curriculum and instructional practices across all CHS centers. This role will ensure that our curriculum framework is delivered consistently and with fidelity, driving high-quality learning experiences that align with CHS's mission to transform the lives of the children in our care. This position will lead and standardize our coaching model, providing regular, structured coaching across all centers to enhance teacher effectiveness and improve child outcomes. Responsible for supporting the Sr. Director of Programs and Center Directors in the achievement of NAEYC accreditation through assuring program compliance and quality. The salary range for this position is $59,735 - $79,746 annual depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent, high-fidelity implementation of the CHS curriculum and instruction framework across all centers, working closely with center directors and teaching staff. Train and support curriculum and best practices content for new scholastic staff
- Collaborate with Center Directors to ensure consistent and age-appropriate implementation of CHS curriculum and best practices in all classrooms
- Lead and manage a structured coaching model, providing individualized support and professional development to educators at each center, fostering instructional excellence
- In collaboration with Curriculum & Instruction Coaches, conduct classroom observations and recommend improvement strategies
- Model CHS educational philosophy

- Coaches to ensure identified improvement strategies are instituted in a timely manner and are sustained within the classroom
- Work with Coaches to ensure compliance with CHS best practices, policies, and procedures as well as with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with center leadership and coaches to support the success of existing and implementation of new learning initiatives and special events
- Oversee the procurement of educational materials and classroom furniture, ensuring a unified standard of quality and efficiency in resource distribution to all centers. Complete classroom audits and report identified equipment and material needs
- Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of curriculum and instruction, tracking child progress and outcomes to inform data-driven decisions that align with CHS's goals of kindergarten readiness and beyond. Manage the child evaluations in place by tracking the timeliness and implementation by teachers
- Regularly audit current curricula, evaluate emerging educational trends, and recommend new curriculum frameworks and instructional methods to keep CHS's educational offerings cutting-edge. Oversee new implementation planning and execution across the centers
