Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - as needed, not to exceed 19.5 hours per week
Summary of Position
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide effective instruction in Public Speaking and Communications, helping to fulfill the Colleges goal of providing a quality education for all students attending CTC .
Minimum Required Education
Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education is required. Applicants must have a minimum of 18 hours in graduate level courses in Speech or Communication Studies.
Minimum Required Experience
Three years of teaching experience at the post-secondary or secondary level in an appropriate academic discipline is preferred. Experience with online or technology-enhanced curriculum and LMS is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge in the subject matter being taught : Ability to teach the subject matter effectively and communicate clearly with students. Computer skills including Word, downloading and installing software, sending and receiving emails with attachments, working with Blackboard or other LMS .
