Salary $20.00 per hour
Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - Part-time position, 19.5 hours per week. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support program needs.
Summary of Position
Responsible for educating and training students in various aspects of automotive systems, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance in an open-entry, self-paced environment. This is an in-person position that involves developing and delivering curriculum, providing hands-on instruction, assessing student progress, maintaining tools, equipment, and facilities, and fostering strong industry connections to prepare students for successful careers in the automotive field.
Minimum Required Education
Associates Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required
Minimum Required Experience
3-to-5 years of recent paid work experience, exclusive of teaching
ASE Certifications : G-1, A-4, A-5 OR
ASE Certifications within one year of hire Preferred : Master ASE

Knowledge of and Abilities
- Automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical components.
- Various diagnostic tools, equipment, and industry-standard repair procedures.
- Automotive technology trends and emerging technologies.
- Instructional design and adult learning principles.
- OSHA safety standards and hazardous material requirements
