Summary of Position
The Success Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and facilitating internship programs across three higher education institutions. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with business, military, government, and non-profit organizations to secure a diverse range of internship opportunities for students. The Success Coordinator will manage the end-to-end process of student internships, including recruitment, application review, selection, placement, and ongoing support. The goal of this role is to ensure a meaningful and productive internship experience that enhances students’ professional development and career readiness. This is a grant funded position.
Minimum Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum Required Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in career services, internship program management, or a related area. Experience working with higher education institutions and external organizations. Demonstrated experience in program development, relationship management, and student support services.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
| Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of higher education systems and student career development processes.
- Familiarity with internship program management and best practices.
- Knowledge of local, regional, and national labor markets and industry trends.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in using career services management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technology tools.
Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple institutions.
- Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative approaches to internship program management.
- Ability to travel between the three partner institutions and to various internship sites as needed.

Other Information
This position may require occasional evening or weekend work, as well as travel between the three partner institutions and internship sites. Management reserves the right to change these duties and responsibilities at any time. Primary work location is Fort Cavazos.
