What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Supervisor position at Central Transport?
Central Transport LLC is one of the nation’s most reliable and technologically advanced LTL (Less-than-Truckload) carriers to date. For example, we have recently implemented 25 next-day hubs in our network to provide immediate, essential services for our customers overnight. We also hold the industry’s most modern fleet with our tractors & trailers having an average age of 2.5 years old. Shift :
9 : 00am - 7 : 00pm, Monday - Friday
Salary : 60,000-$80,000
Ideal Candidate Requirements :
- Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment (preferably within the LTL industry)
- Strong leadership qualities
- Desire to surround customer with excellence in service
- High aptitude for technology
- The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred but not required
