What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trucking Operations Coordinator position at Central Transport?
Central Transport LLC is seeking a seasoned Transportation Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 30 LTL drivers and dock personnel, overseeing break bulk operations, and ensuring proper loading.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and supporting a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers. Our ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees.
They should also be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and have excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills. In addition to your technical expertise, you should have a strong understanding of the LTL trucking industry and be familiar with regulatory requirements.
