Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, with a can-do attitude, ensuring the smooth operation of all systems, networks, and servers. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and support our employees with their technical needs. This role will be in office and based in Sacramento. This is not a remote position.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all aspects of our IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and servers, with a proactive mindset to identify and resolve potential issues before they arise
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Monitor system performance and security, identifying and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner, demonstrating a “can-do attitude”.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
- Provide technical support and assistance to employees, resolving helpdesk tickets and addressing user needs with a positive, customer-focused approach
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures, maintaining a "get it done" attitude, ensuring data integrity and continuity in case of unforeseen events.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
- Other duties and tasks assigned by management
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications with equipment on the plant floor
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong SQL Knowledge is required
- Proficiency with Office 365 / Teams
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Security ) are a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking
- Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, lifting up to 25lbs.
- Periods of driving between locations
