Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Commercial Storefront Fabricator/Installer to oversee and execute the fabrication and installation of aluminum storefront systems, curtain walls, entrance doors, and commercial glazing. The ideal candidate is a team leader with excellent technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. This position may also support the residential division as needed, offering a dynamic and varied work experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise commercial storefront operations.
· Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
· Accurately confirm and verify field opening measurements prior to fabrication and installation.
· Fabricate aluminum storefront frames and door systems using saws, punches, and other shop tools.
· Install aluminum storefronts, curtain walls, hollow metal doors/frames, and commercial glass systems.
· Ensure proper fit, sealing, anchoring, and alignment of installed components.
· Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other subcontractors on-site.
· Maintain jobsite safety and enforce OSHA compliance.
· Mentor team members and maintain high-quality installation standards.
· Perform on-site troubleshooting and resolve installation challenges.
· Assist the residential division with window, door, or glass installation when required by workload or scheduling.
· Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in an organized and efficient manner.

·Qualifications and Skills:
· 5 years of experience in commercial storefront/glazing installation.
· Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to direct a team.
· Strong understanding of commercial storefront systems (Kawneer preferred).
· Proficient in confirming field dimensions and adapting to real-world variances.
· Hollow metal door/frame installation experience (preferred).
· Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
· Strong fabrication skills and experience using shop tools.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Ability to lift 75 lbs and work safely at heights.
· Strong communication skills, team player mentality, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
