Responsibilities
- Under general direction of Dietary Chef, provides for the dietary and nutritional needs of patients, guests and staff
- Prepares, cooks and serves food according to hospital standards and nutritional guidelines
- Follows hospital recipes
- Adheres to all hospital and state sanitation and food handling codes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Food Handlers Permit
- Experience with food preparation and following recipes
- Ability to remain flexible and calm in a demanding environment
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal capabilities
