What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Central Valley Pain Management?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform data collection
- Ensure adherence to quality control and quality assurance protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory procedures and results
- Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory methods
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize laboratory processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, microbiology) or working toward a degree.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
