Job Description



Central Virginia Community College is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. CVCC is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students in occupational/technical programs and university-parallel/college transfer programs.

The Workforce Programs Enrollment Specialist will support the mission of Central Virginia Community College by providing administrative support for FastForward and other CTE programs. This position will help to oversee and manage coordination of classes. This position will work with both internal and external individuals to manage data using internal software systems for setting up classes, registrations, grant processing and billing. Other responsibilities include coordination of room reservations, instructor communication, technology support and financial aid opportunities.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.



KSA's/Required Qualifications
Considerable knowledge in administrative and office support functions. Ability to operate a multitude of technology programs to assist students in enrolling in classes, processing financial aid, billing and grant processing. Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse population. Ability to organize, coordinate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Considerations
Experience with FastForward programs. Experience with WES and SIS enrollment systems.
