ROLE:
The Certified Addictions Practitioner (CAP) helps individuals struggling with substance abuse or behavioral addictions by providing counseling, support, and guidance through their recovery journey.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Highschool Diploma or GED required
• CAP Certification
JOB SUMMARY:
The CAP will assist with aligning care across the system to help fulfill the varied requirements pf payers and wield influence throughout all departments and service lines, providing strategic direction and accountability for all organizational deliverables in support of CWCC's mission, vision, and values and strategic priorities. The scope or practice for the CAP includes and is limited to: the treatment, prevention, intervention, diagnosis, referral and follow up with clients who are diagnosed with an addiction as classified by the most current version of the DSM.
