Full-time Executive Assistant and Office Manager
Location: Waupun, Wis., office

Hours: Full time, first shift

Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant and Office Manager is responsible for coordinating administrative support and various office-management duties required at CentralStar’s Waupun, Wis., office, and assists the Chief Executive Officer, CentralStar Board of Directors, and the field-leadership team with management-level projects and reporting. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, detail oriented, have great time-management skills, possess an outgoing personality, and be able to act without guidance in accordance with the long-range objectives and mission of the cooperative.
Responsibilities:
-- Manage all communication and logistics organization for the CentralStar Board of Directors and various advisory committees, including coordination of travel, lodging, facilities, meals, presentations, materials, etc.;
-- Attend and take highly-accurate meeting minutes for board meetings and advisory-committee meetings;
-- Compile monthly, quarterly, and/or yearly financial reports for budgeting and operations;
-- Accurately calculate and document award and milestone data for cooperative team members;
-- Organize and carry out general office-management duties;
-- Work to encourage an office culture of friendship, vision, accountability, leadership, and engagement while respecting each team member’s unique personality and skill set;
-- Supervise, cross train, and/or back up other administrative team members; and
-- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-- Associate degree or equivalent, with five or more years’ experience in administration;
-- Management experience preferred, but not required;
-- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, and reporting, with a basic understanding of financial principles such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements;
-- Analytical ability with a high degree of accuracy;
-- Maintains a high level of confidentiality;
-- Strong computer skills, including but not limited to office programs and e-mail associated with Microsoft 365, with the ability to learn other associated software, as needed;
-- Works independently and as part of a team;
-- Displays consistent professionalism;
-- Outstanding people skills, with service-oriented attitude;
-- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and ensure accuracy;
-- Exceptional communication skills; and
-- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
-- Some knowledge of the agriculture industry is preferred, but not required.
-- The opportunity for occasional overnight travel (for meetings/training) is possible.
