Event Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team in creating memorable experiences for our guests. The ideal candidates will be responsible for assisting with various aspects of event management, ensuring smooth operations, and providing exceptional guest services. Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of events, including arranging furniture, decorations, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Manage cash handling processes during events, including ticket sales and concessions.
• Support food service operations by serving food and beverages to guests as needed.
• Collaborate with the events management team to ensure all event logistics are executed flawlessly.
• Monitor guest safety during events; lifeguard certification is a plus for water-related events.
• Engage with children and families during events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Facilitate public speaking engagements or presentations as required by event programming.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces throughout the duration of the event.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or events management is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills are essential for managing transactions effectively.
• Experience working with children is a valuable asset for family-oriented events.
• Public speaking skills are a plus for engaging with guests during presentations or announcements.
• Background in food service or theater can enhance the overall guest experience.
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
