Here, we focus our compassionate, assent-based techniques towards Early Intervention. LSAA is an ABA program for children, ages 6 and younger.

Title: Behavior Consultant Trainee (BCT)
Type: Full-time, Salary, Center-based
Location: 5734 W. Glendale, Glendale, AZ 85301
Center Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year (negotiable) monthly bonus opportunity

A Supervising Clinician at Centria is someone that believes in Centria's core values, as well as respects the values of our clients. They are practicing Applied Behavioral Analysis in a fashion that aligns with Centria's Foundations of Care, following assent-based, compassionate practices, according to modern protocols. The Supervising Clinician will provide guidance & support to Behavior Technicians as they carry out their Treatment Plan, ensuring that clinical standards are being met.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member may be exposed to a client who exhibits physically aggressive behavior, which can include kicking, pinching, punching, biting, etc. The team member may have to use appropriate behavior management techniques with a client under such circumstances. Such a response requires agility, quick reflexes, and the ability to use physically evasive movement. The team member will be required to stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, hear, type, and write. The team member will also be exposed to normal office conditions and usual office equipment such as phone, computer, copiers, files, etc. The team member must be able to independently push, pull, lift, move, and carry objects weighing up to thirty-five (35) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near, far, and field of vision.

Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a qualifying ABA Masters program or Post-masters program, in accordance with the BACB guidelines for the BCBA's education requirements.
- Must have at minimum of 750-hours of fieldwork accrued in order to be considered. These hours must be clearly documented on Monthly Verification Forms. (We prefer those that have some Unrestricted Hours)

- Provide clinical oversight to clientele, maintain quality standards, compliance & retention
- Develop child-specific treatment plans following the principles of ABA therapy
- Train & nurture your team of BT/RBTs
- Coach and develop your team to consistently achieve high performance by meeting objectives, delivering optimal results, adding value, and pursuing continuous improvement.
- Inspire parents/caregiver involvement in Treatment Plan; aiming to deliver no less than 1-hour per month of parent/caregiver engagement to all clients
- Ensuring the daily functions of the team are completed by communicating expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results and performance. Identify skill gaps and assist with improvement.
- Completion of -or- enrollment in a Master's ABA program with an accredited university in acceptance with BACB guidelines for the BCBA.
- Accrual of at least 500 fieldwork hours in accordance with BCBA certification guidelines from the BACB (with supporting documentation)
- 1 years working with children and autism spectrum disorders
- Previous supervision experience is preferred
- Crisis management experience is preferred
- Centria's Resource Center office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
- This particular opportunity is for our Life Skills Autism Academy in Glendale. Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm AZ Time.
- This particular position is Academy-based, for Early Intervention (children with autism, up to age 6)
- Additional time or flex schedules may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives.
