Responsibilities:
As an intern you may be working on one of more of the below areas:
- Invoice Processing: Assist in downloading, entering, and processing AP invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
- Account Reconciliations: Support the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and help resolve discrepancies.
- Expense Management: Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Utilize Excel to organize data, create reports, and perform analysis to support finance operations.
- System & Process Support: Work with accounting and finance software to enter and manage financial records (training provided).
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize accounts payable workflows.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the finance team and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.); knowledge of Microsoft Suite is a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn new software tools and financial systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
