As a full-time, paid Project Engineering Intern at Gits Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Engineering team to assist in project and design work.

As a full-time, paid Project Engineering Intern at Gits Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Engineering team to assist in project and design work.
Responsibilities
- Understand how a vent functions and how a customer uses it
- Create a database for vent simulations
- Create a database of flow curves for current production vents
- Load tested results into a sales and engineering tool
- Will have an understanding of Gits New Product Development processes
- Provide CFD and tested results for Vents
- Create an engineering tool for vent selection
- A student of Junior or Senior academic standing, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and be part of a collaborative team
- Upholds organizational values and integrity
- Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion and accuracy.
- Willing to be located onsite at GITs Manufacturing in Urbandale, IA
