About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Technician - Equipment Repair to join our team at Centrum Valley Farms. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, ensuring optimal machine functionality and contributing to daily production goals.
Responsibilities
- Repair and perform basic maintenance on industrial machinery, including automation, mechanical, electrical, and conveying systems, following manufacturer recommendations and company SOPs.
- Identify root causes of mechanical and electrical issues, performing essential repairs such as welding, fabricating parts, plumbing, or replacing defective components.
- Diagnose and conduct conveyor maintenance as scheduled.
- Perform preventive maintenance on processing machines and supporting equipment.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
- Troubleshoot and replace or repair drive chains, gears, belts, pulleys, shafts, rollers, electric motors, and gearboxes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prefer additional trade or technical school education in maintenance, mechanical, welding, HVAC, or electrical.
- Prefer 2 years of experience in industrial, commercial, or facility systems maintenance.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holiday hours as required.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 75 lbs.
- Ability to walk, climb, stand, and sit for long periods and work in tight spaces.
