RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room | 13-Weeks Assignment
- Location: Rochester, New York, 14621
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2520 - $2736
- Shift: 12hr Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, quality cardiovascular perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists in cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain operating room with necessary surgical equipment and supplies
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery and post-operative recovery
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond to emergency situations
- Use advanced surgical technology and robotics (e.g., da Vinci, Rosa, Monarch robots)
- Document procedures and care provided using EPIC EMR
- Administer moderate sedation and manage infusion pumps and other specialized equipment
- Follow infection control and safety protocols strictly
- Support team workflow and participate in on-call rotation
Requirements:-
License:
Active RN license in New York
Certifications:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular OR experience Required
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 75-mile radius qualify for travel pay.
