Job Summary

About the Role
This role will involve creating new distribution and service designs for underground natural gas customers while ensuring regulations and engineering standards are met. The successful candidate will have experience using GIS or similar mapping software, working with underground utilities, and completing free-hand drafting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analysis and quality assurance on gas installation paperwork submitted by field personnel.
- Create drawings according to company standards based on field documentation corresponding with construction requirements.
- Perform data entry for incoming and outgoing documentation.
- Interpret field documents and translate to required company documentation.
- Communicate with field foremen and superintendents to ensure accurate documentation.
- Input data into the Customer Work Management Information System (WMIS).
- Log and track all data on AC's and packages received from field personnel into FOMS.
- Create detailed spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and check lists to record construction progress daily.
What You'll Get
The selected candidate can expect a competitive salary of $62,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting or a related field.
- Experience using GIS or similar mapping software, working with underground utilities, and completing free-hand drafting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
