Addiction Recovery Specialist
We are seeking an Addiction Recovery Specialist to provide supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a human services field, CADAC II certification (or higher), and the ability to obtain within 24 months of hire.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient treatment and addiction recovery education to patients
- Conduct group counseling sessions to support patient recovery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services field required
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant (CADAC II , LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or higher certification/licensure
- Current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR, first-aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use certification
- Pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
