Job Title: Addiction Recovery Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility setting.
This role is based at the Westville Correctional Facility in Indiana, offering a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services through outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education, and group counseling sessions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring effective care and support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field, such as social work or psychology.
- Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant (CADAC II , LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or higher certification/licensure.
- Current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR, first-aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use certification.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
