Centurion New York is a multi-venue exclusive, elegant space that provides guests the highest level of service and hospitality. We are committed to creating a unique experience for each one of our guests and are looking for experienced, enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join our team.
The Guest Relations Coordinator will supervise, lead and coordinate the Host team while providing exceptional customer service to all guests by warmly welcoming them, addressing their inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, maintaining accurate records of interactions, monitoring guest feedback, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
The Host is the first and last point of contact with the guest and is responsible for greeting, seating, and communicating with guests as well as supporting the flow of the restaurant during service. The Guest Relations Coordinator will ensure the Host team and overall guest service flows seamlessly.
The Guest Relations Coordinator will report directly to the Service Director and Club Director.
Essential Duties:
- Work closely with Floor Manager and Events Team to contribute to a positive dining experience for guests
- Ensure impeccable guest service
- Support Hosts in:
- Making same day reservations and confirmation calls
- Greet and seat arriving guest and departing guests
- Proof reservation book to maximize seating, revise notes & facilitate special VIP requests
- Assist Management team with various projects as needed
Competencies, & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in luxury or Michelin Star fine-dining
- Able to take direction and complete tasks
- Organizational skills
- Effective time management and understanding of restaurant timing and steps of service
- Pleasant and professional demeanor with impeccable grooming as defined by management and dress code
- Clear oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Able to engage guests successfully and build relationships
- General knowledge and interest in food & wine
- Multi-lingual a plus!
Positions require:
- Full availability - daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
