Key Responsibilities :
Concrete Foundations Management
Oversee all aspects of concrete work, including foundations, slabs, and structural components. Ensure proper preparation, placement, and curing processes to meet project specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to verify elevations and layouts. Masonry and Exterior Oversight
Supervise the installation of masonry, cladding, siding, and waterproofing systems. Ensure exterior finishes are installed to specifications and in compliance with design documents. Monitor subcontractors’ work to maintain high-quality standards and efficient progress. Field Coordination
Assist the Superintendent in scheduling and coordinating subcontractors to maintain project timelines. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure work aligns with plans. Work closely with the project team to resolve field conflicts and implement corrective measures. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate daily logs of site activities, material deliveries, and progress updates. Assist in tracking project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance. Report any delays or quality concerns to the Superintendent and recommend proactive solutions. Safety and Compliance
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on-site, conducting regular safety checks. Ensure all work complies with building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements. Address and document any safety incidents or violations promptly. Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and field staff to align on project goals. Build strong working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications :
3 years of experience in construction, with a focus on concrete, masonry, and exterior work. Experience on large-scale wood-framed multifamily apartment projects is highly preferred. Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore) Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
