As an HVAC Estimator you will be responsible for evaluating project specifications, analyzing costs, and preparing accurate estimates for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
Key Responsibilities :
- Estimate Preparation : Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate HVAC cost estimates.
- Cost Analysis : Determine labor, material, and equipment costs for HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Vendor & Supplier Coordination : Obtain pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to compile accurate bid proposals.
- Proposal Development : Prepare detailed proposals and bid submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Project Consultation : Work with engineers, project managers, and sales teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Site Visits : Conduct field inspections when necessary to assess project scope and potential challenges.
- Budgeting & Forecasting : Assist in budget preparation and financial planning for HVAC projects.
- Client Communication : Engage with clients to clarify project details, negotiate pricing, and address concerns.
