We are currently seeking a Head HVAC Estimator to lead our estimating team and drive success in our HVAC projects.

• Position Overview :

You will be responsible for overseeing the estimating department and ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of our HVAC project bids. You will leverage your extensive experience—8 years in the mechanical industry—to guide the team, develop strategic estimating processes, and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills, exceptional technical knowledge, and a strategic mindset.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Lead, mentor, and develop the estimating team to enhance performance and achieve the department’s goals.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely cost estimates for HVAC projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other departments to create comprehensive and competitive bidding proposals.
• Analyze project designs and specifications to determine the most cost-effective solutions and strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Implement and improve estimating processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Review and analyze historical data and industry trends to inform future estimates and bidding strategies.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide strategic insights on cost management and bid strategies.
• Qualifications :
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the mechanical industry, with a strong focus on HVAC estimation.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices.
• Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail for comprehensive cost calculations.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools specific to HVAC projects.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Estimator, LEED) are a plus.
