Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage construction and development activities for mid-rise projects in North Miami.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters, including pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases.
- Oversee the development of project timelines, budgets, and schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Ensure alignment between design, construction plans, and the owner's vision for the project.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the construction team and other consultants to ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and local regulations.
Scope of Work:
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
- Ensure that any required permits and approvals are obtained and that the project complies with zoning, environmental, and safety regulations.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Work with the project team to establish project budgets and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve invoices and change orders from subcontractors and consultants.
- Manage project cash flow and ensure that the owner's financial interests are protected.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks to the project, including construction delays, budget issues, or legal concerns, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain effective communication with the developer, project stakeholders, architects, contractors, consultants, and governmental agencies.
- Provide regular project updates to the owner and other key stakeholders, highlighting progress, potential challenges, and resolutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Strong budget management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Proficient in construction management software and tools.
