Summary of Position
The Sales Operations Representative will be responsible for growing and managing the client base as well as supporting the sales team. The position will have a significant focus on optimizing sales processes and systems that help the sales team achieve their goals and operate more efficiently.

Work is normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment and throughout a heated manufacturing and warehouse facility. Exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of light manufacturing, shipping and receiving, and normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.

Responsibilities
- Develops, implements and utilizes sales strategies to grow the customer base
- Meets monthly revenue goals
- Works in conjunction with the marketing department to support sales objectives
- Assists in envisioning the direction of the market to maximize sales
- Builds and maintains productive relationships with accounts
- Provides best in class customer service
- Possess superior product, industry and competitor knowledge
- Seeks new opportunities to endorse, sell and add value to the company
- Travel to conventions, meetings and tradeshows as required
- Manage trade show prep, to include travel arrangements, furniture/service ordering, etc.
- Work with IT Department to leverage technology in support of Sales and Marketing staff
- Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and orders
- Input data into database software accurately and efficiently
- Verify accuracy of data input and perform basic data audits
- Create and maintain ad hoc sales reporting for territory sales managers
- Assist with processing daily sales reports when manager is out of office
- Research projects as required
- Actively participate in the 5S process within the work area on a daily basis
- Other duties will be assigned as required.

- Associates Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Personal drive, self-motivation and initiative to meet sales goals and objectives
- High energy, creative problem solver able to “go with the flow”
- Able to work independently
- Solid phone skills
- Ability to multitask
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Travel as required
- Firearms knowledge required
- Must be able to understand and apply complex Government regulations
