POSITION: Cage Supervisor GAMING LICENSE: MGC Level 2
PROPERTY: Caruthersville DEPARTMENT: Cage-Finance
REPORTS TO: Cage Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. All employees are required to practice the customer courtesy skills to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. The Cage Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Cage Manager in the successful operation of the Cage. The Cage Supervisor is also responsible for providing information to employees and guests about events in the casino, supervising all cage employees in the performance of their duties, and making sure that areas are clean and safe for guests and employees.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and employee and guest information.
- Responsible to the Cage Shift Manager/Cage Manager for successful performance of assigned duties.
- Responsible for the supervision and performance of the cage and employees during the shift. Evaluate employees on job performance.
- Assist and advise other departments and company employees, as necessary, to assure the success of the cage and the company overall.
- Ensure all company standard operating procedures, gaming regulations, federal regulations (Title 31 compliance) are being followed.
- Review staffing levels to maintain proper customer service levels.
- Delegate authority and assign responsibilities as needed.
- Communicate any problems with Cage management and other departments through required reports.
- Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.
- Ensure the security of all casino funds.
- Administer disciplinary action as necessary.
- Evaluating business demands and ability to fill in positions such as Cashier and Senior Cashier when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Accuracy in completing assigned duties, paper work, and reports.
- Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, personal computers (CMS, SDS E-ticket, Certegy Check cashing system), bill breaking/ticket redemption kiosks, 10 key calculator, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, jet sort coin counter and currency counters.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of all equipment.
- Casino environment exposed to bright lights, noise, changing temperatures and smoke. May include a boat and/or floating barge, hotel and atrium.
- Standing 80%, Sitting 10%, Bending/Lifting 10% (up to 30 pounds).
- Ability to be at work on time as scheduled on a regular basis which includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Two to five years experience in cage operations or banking experience preferred
- Knowledge of the various Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude at all times.
- Must be able to obtain and hold a Missouri Gaming License.
