What are the responsibilities and job description for the Closing Specialist position at Century Complete?
Location: Brighton, MI, or Chandler, AZ
What You’ll Do:
The Closing Specialist coordinates the closing process from home sale to home closing within the time frames established by the studio goals.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Work with the Division Manager to establish accurate monthly closing projections at the beginning of every month.
- Prepare and participate in weekly status meetings.
- Constantly work with lenders for status to ensure all documents, etc., are complete and the loan is progressing correctly.
- Communicate with buyer and lender to ensure procurement of required items in the timeframe.
- Weekly communication with the Construction team on the home's progress to ensure completion and CO is on time.
- Coordinate QI schedule with the construction team.
- Communicate weekly with the Closing Attorney on the progress of each closing.
- Schedule closings with the buyer and the Attorney.
- Consistently update the Regional Sales Manager on issues that may prevent closing on time.
- Generate and distribute the weekly closing status report.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
What You Have:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills.
- A result-oriented attitude with the ability to solve problems.
- Ability to be accurate, detail-oriented, and multitask.
Your Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years in the Real Estate industry.
