We are looking for a passionate, confident person that is driven to succeed and make a difference in our Kalamazoo territory (from Lake Michigan to Adrian, MI and just into the norther part of Indiana) for the 2025-2026 school year!
As part of the Century Resources sales team, you’ll engage with students, teachers and parents throughout the territory sharing the most stable fundraising program in the industry. You will manage your own schedule to drive sales, work tirelessly during the school year to get in front of educators and groups so you can have flexibility in the summers when you want it most.
Currently, there is a high concentration of schools we work with near and around the Louisville area, but we are looking to grow more throughout the southwestern part of the state. You should expect to travel anywhere between 20 min to 3 hours to get to your first school in the morning to either prospect for new business or kick off a fundraiser. Someone located in or around Kalamazoo would be ideal.
We want you to love the secondary school groups and match their energy! The right candidate will have a top-notch work ethic, ability to motivate students, understand the true meaning of a consultative sale, and be a self-starter.
This position starts at $65,000 (base salary draw against commission) but the sky is the limit with earning potential!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools to drive sales growth.
- Engage in cold calling and networking to identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct sales and fundraiser kickoff presentations to showcase offerings effectively.
- Utilize negotiation skills to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Manage accounts and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Leverage technology and mobile applications to streamline sales processes and reporting.
Requirements:
- Live in Kalamazoo (see above) to be able to travel school-to-school; this is not a remote position and you will be on-the-road five days a week
- Have a valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable automobile
- Have experience with Microsoft Office and mobile applications
- Be ready to set up and manage a personal business office in your home
