Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fabrication Manager to oversee our fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of skilled fabricators, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, adherence to safety and industry codes, and the ability to read blueprints effectively.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the fabrication department, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
- Supervise and train fabrication staff, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the use of various fabrication tools and machinery, including plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and hand tools.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards throughout all fabrication processes.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to verify adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate project execution.
- Utilize micrometers and other precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy in fabrication tasks.
- Implement best practices for ductwork installation and soldering techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in a fabrication management role or similar position within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, welding processes (FCAW), and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards relevant to fabrication work.
- Experience in leading teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and quality improvement.

Pay: $69,587.00 - $73,285.00 per year
