Shop Assistant / Sign Tech

Seeking someone with a flexible schedule and who is okay with working part time and full time. Experience in electrical aspects and crane services is a plus!

We are a local signage company that manufactures and installs and repairs signage for commercial businesses. We serve local and nation-wide customer accounts and are looking for someone who can handle many projects at once in a timely and organized manner with excellent communication. You must be able to work in a very-fast paced environment, expect to multi-task, and stay organized while still being meticulous in your work. No specific certifications or higher education degrees are required. On the job training will be provided. You will be trained as you go and must be able to learn quickly. Being hands-on will be required as you will aid in fabricating signage, installing onto commercial sites and repairing issues. We highly value reliability, strong work ethic, and building relationships with our clients. We are all one team that wears many hats and work together for the best interest of our clients in on-going projects.

For this position, you:

• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be reliable
• Not be afraid of heights, some jobs can be up to 80 feet high
• Be self motivated
• Review signage plans, do basic math and measurements customers and installers
• Drive truck and Operate crane
• Create and assemble vinyl prints, and assist in cutting metal signage, and create box signs and channel letters

Daily shop clean-up and organizing materials and inventory supplies
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more

Able to drive stick shift is a plus but not mandatory

Compensation is based on experience
First two weeks of pay is training pay rate of $13.00
Pay dates are bi-weekly
