Job Summary
Under close supervision and guidance processes invoices and bills customers in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with well-defined procedures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (

Collect and verify necessary documentation needed to accurately prepare invoices for customers including sales invoices and verifying and calculating freight costs and sales taxes.Input data and billing information into billing system while insuring accurate and correct information.Research and provide specific information regarding invoicing and customer accounts (i.e. account status, count, change orders, costs and invoice for varied inquiries.)Performs basic clerical duties including sorting, filing and mailing invoices to the customer.May run daily reports; Performs other duties as assigned.Other (Non-Essential) Functions

The minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent.Proficient understanding of accounting principles / functions.Typically possesses 1-3 years of relevant work experience.Generally performs single function tasks that tend to be of moderate size and scope.Ability to read, interpret and create correspondence and memos.Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations.Advanced mathematical skills including basic algebra and geometry.This position requires general office, PC / computer, and calculator skills.
