Position: Trade Surveillance Application Manager (only W2)
Location: Hybrid-Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 6 12-month contract to hire
Skills Required:
- Trade Surveillance experience/knowledge
- Will be acting as a leader: someone with strong communication skills, can adhere to tight timelines and deliverables, resolve conflicts, and guide the team to work through the project.
- Main focus here is to act as an application manager. They do NOT need to be super hands on from a technical perspective/writing code,etc.

Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of trade surveillance applications. This role requires a deep understanding of trade surveillance systems, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Trade Surveillance Applications: Oversee the development, deployment, and support of trade surveillance applications to ensure they meet the organization's regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to trade surveillance application enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including compliance, IT, and trading desks, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- System Integration: Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate trade surveillance applications with other systems and data sources.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure trade surveillance applications adhere to regulatory standards and requirements. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary updates to applications.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of trade surveillance applications, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize functionality and efficiency.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users of trade surveillance applications. Develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in trade surveillance processes and applications. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance effectiveness.
